Kumbakonam is a small town located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Kumbakonam is famous as temple town as many famous temples are located in and around the town. Agarathur is a small village in Kumbakonam Taluk. It is located about 42km towards East from Thanjavur District. The temperature of this village remains humid, but gets cool during rainy season and best time to visit here is between October and March. The nearest postal head office is in Sholapuram. You can travel by buses or trains to Agarathur and the nearest railway station is Kumbakonam Railway Station which is about 6 km from the village. Auto Nagar

Auto Nagar is another village and locality in Kumbakonam Taluk in Thanjavur District. It is located close to Kumbakonam Railway station, thus, travelling by trains to Auto Nagar from nearby cities is the best option. You can also travel by buses. Auto Nagar is surrounded by various taluk such as Valangaiman, Tiruvidaimarudur, Papanasam and T. Palur. While travelling through Auto Nagar you may find some restaurants, banks and petrol pumps on the way.

Srinivasapuram is a small hamlet in the town of Kumbakonam and located about 37 km east from the district of Thanjavur. The pin code of Srinivasapuram is 612402 and the nearest postal head office is in Tippirajapuram. Schools, colleges, banks, atms, petrol pumps,small markets are located in Srinivasapuram. Srinivasapuram is surrounded by Tiruvidaimarudur, Kodavasal, and Papanasam localities. It is located about 5 km away from Kumbakonam Railway Station and you can reach by buses and trains to Kumbakonam and then you can take auto-rickshaw from Kumbakona railway station to Srinivasapuram.
